Certifications

We help organisations measure and communicate their impact on water resources using a consistent, science-based standard.

This approach strengthens organisations’ environmental performance by aligning water management with corporate sustainability goals.

Organisational Water Footprint

Act4water certifications enable companies committed to sustainable water use to report their progress on organisational or corporate water footprint—that is, the organisation’s direct and indirect impact on water resources.

Each seal represents the organisation’s progress in sustainable water management. This progress is assessed using the Act4water Standard, which draws on leading scientific methodologies such as the Water Footprint Network and ISO 14046, with external verification support. In addition to calculating and reducing their water footprint, organisations can contribute to water regeneration through the acquisition of water credits (CAPs) generated by Water + projects.
