Pre-assessment request

This pre-assessment application is optional and is intended to obtain preliminary guidance on the project’s eligibility to generate Credits Aqua Positive (CAPs), also known as Positive Water Credits, and on the applicability of the principles of the Act4water Standard.

Before proceeding with the pre-assessment, it is recommended to review this standard, as well as the principles and requirements of the compensation mechanism, to ensure that the project meets the essential criteria.

To apply for certification, your project must:

Comply with the principles and requirements of the Act4Water Standard.
Be aligned with at least one of these project types:

- Water efficiency
- Aquatic Environment Quality
- Water Reuse
- Territorial Water Resilience
- Protection of ecosystems and biodiversity

Pay the pre-evaluation fee (150€) by the payment method indicated in the official communication to finalise the application process.
